The sleeves were too full so they were reduced in width likewise they were too long and reduced by in length.

The cuffs were then reattached and topstitched down.
This lovely customer brought her mother of the bride dress and really didn’t like the neckline.

She asked for my advice, we decided to cut the the front into a V neck edged with a ruffle using the tie.
​
The fabric was a delicate silk so needed to be handled with care.
​
As the front was cut on the bias the neck line could of easily stretched out so needed to be stay stitched so the pressure was on.

My customer is over the moon with the transformation and is now confident for the up and coming wedding

Great job on refashioning the wedding dress into a beautiful robe for the bride's daughter! The belt and lace trim details sound like lovely additions. It's always rewarding to see happy customers.
Some visible mending on some leggings which had some holes on the knees.

As the fabric is Lycra I stabilised it with a stretch interfacing and Appliquéd two Lycra patches which were also interfaced to the knee.

These leggings now have a new lease of life and can be used for lot more running, rather be put in landfill
This baby doll dress was transformed into a stunning piece after some customization. The original strappy bodice was removed and a new bodice was created using a beautiful green velour. The tulle skirt was redrafted to fit at the waist, resulting in a perfect fit for the customer.
